Charlie Sheppard raises money for GBS:

March, 2020

Charlie Sheppard runs the Bath Half Marathon.

I wanted to message you to say a massive thank you for donating to my half marathon a few weeks ago. It’s taken me this long to recover.

I can’t quite believe it, but including all the Gift Aid and offline donations we managed to raise £2,683.65. How amazing is that! Couldn’t be happier. To put that in context, the original target for the total fundraising was £500.

Lots of training, lot’s of sweating and lots of lycra. But it was all worth it.

I managed to run it in 1hr 48mins which i’m really chuffed with. My aim was to run it in under 2 hours, so to shave 12 minutes off was great. I even managed to give my mum a sweaty kiss on the cheek over the spectator barrier on the final corner of the race!

I really am grateful for the donation, it means a lot to be able to raise money for the GAIN charity.

Thanks again for the support,
Charlie x
